                              I stared as clusters of raindrops
                              were swept from the windshield
                              blending faceless with begging puddles.
                              New and fresh, unadulterated drops
                              forcefully cast aside by the wipers.

                              Moving side to side
                              Angrily thrashing
                              back and forth, back and forth
                              to the droning rhythm of radio static
                              a broken hint of music trickles through.

                              I am one with these drops
                              doing what is to be done
                              and doing it well
                              Rain... driving Rain,
                              one person's hell.

                              Reborn with faith
                              unsullied and new
                              I drop determined doing what I do.
